On the afternoon of September 9, 2025, Prof. Dr. Phouphet Kyophilavong, Vice President of the National University of Laos, warmly welcomed Assistant Professor Dr. Santi Charoenpornpattana, Vice President for Planning and Strategy, and Associate Professor Dr. Chairoenchai Khompatraporn, Department of Production Engineering, from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. The meeting was also attended by Asst. Lect. Keophouthone Hathalong, Director of the Center for Scientific Journal Promotion at the National University of Laos, along with five faculty members, two of whom were female. Center for the Promotion of Scientific Journals Organizes E-Journal Training for NUOL's Faculty of Letters Vientiane, Laos – September 8, 2025 – The Faculty of Letters (FOL) at the National University of Laos (NUOL) successfully hosted an E-Journal training session to equip its staff with essential skills for modern scholarly publication. The comprehensive workshop, organized by the Center for the Scientific Journal Promotion (CSJP), covered both theoretical understanding and practical application of online journal management. Chaired by Dr. Thongmala Phosikham, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Letters, the training saw enthusiastic participation from 15 faculty members, including 5 women.                   On August 25, 2025, the Director of the Center for Scientific Journal Promotion, the Deputy Director, and two Technical Officers—a total of four people, including two women—attended a meeting to prepare for the 2025 Annual Project Conference at the Lao-China Research. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Khamla Inkhawilay, Deputy Director of the Office of Scientific Research and Office Services, and included the participation of 15 office staff members, department heads, center heads, and members of the Office of Scientific Research and Office Services, among whom were seven women. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss preparations for the 2025 Annual Project Conference. Dr. Khamla Inkhawilay assigned Ms. Chanthanom Deanmani, Head of the Department of Scientific Research Project Management, to present the work plan for the conference scheduled for August 26, 2025.
